Althra is a 4-month, in-person incubator in downtown Vancouver for early-stage founders. We provide workspace, mentorship from 13 venture-backed founders, $25,000 CAD in capital, and investor introductions — all with zero equity taken.
Nothing. The program is completely free and we take zero equity. For Cohort 2, each team also receives $25,000 CAD in non-dilutive capital.
Downtown Vancouver. You'll have 24/7 access to a dedicated workspace, generously provided by The Acquisition Group.
Four months, typically running from September through mid-December. The program includes a kickoff dinner, weekly mentorship sessions, and culminates in a Demo Day.
You should have a working prototype or demo and some early validation — whether that's customer interviews, alpha users, or pilot programs. We're looking for founders who are past the idea stage but still early enough to benefit from focused, in-person building time.

You'll present your startup to a room of 10+ early-stage venture funds including Rhino Ventures, Graphite Ventures, Panache Ventures, and others. It's your chance to build real investor relationships.
Yes — you can be based anywhere in Canada. However, you need to commit to being physically present in Vancouver for the full four months of the program. Building in person is core to the Althra experience.
